जब मन में हो मौज बहारों की
चमकाएँ चमक सितारों की,
जब ख़ुशियों के शुभ घेरे हों
तन्हाई  में  भी  मेले  हों,
आनंद की आभा होती है
*उस रोज़ 'दिवाली' होती है ।*

       जब प्रेम के दीपक जलते हों
       सपने जब सच में बदलते हों,
       मन में हो मधुरता भावों की
       जब लहके फ़सलें चावों की,
       उत्साह की आभा होती है
       *उस रोज़ दिवाली होती है ।*

जब प्रेम से मीत बुलाते हों
दुश्मन भी गले लगाते हों,
जब कहींं किसी से वैर न हो
सब अपने हों, कोई ग़ैर न हो,
अपनत्व की आभा होती है
*उस रोज़ दिवाली होती है ।*

       जब तन-मन-जीवन सज जाएं
       सद्-भाव  के बाजे बज जाएं,
       महकाए ख़ुशबू ख़ुशियों की
      मुस्काएं चंदनिया सुधियों की,
      तृप्ति  की  आभा होती  है

10 Things Fauji Wives are sick of Hearing  to :

1. Aapke pati fauj mei hain.. Dar nahi lagta?
(Thanks for reminding especially when he is posted in the field and there is no telephone connectivity and he can call only once in 3days)

2. Aise akele akele kaise reh lete ho?
(I don’t suppose we are conjoined. Ever heard of the term duty? The one he is on?)

3. Achha field posting hai.. baby plan kar lo phir
(Am I a baby making machine that works only in the absence of my husband?)

4. Peace mei hai and aapne unko join nahi kiya??
(Are we some lego pieces that have to be joined to make sense?)

5. Miss karte ho?
(Are you crazy? Why would I miss my husband, someone I love? U must be kidding, right?)

6. B.Ed kar lo.. Har station mei settle ho jaoge
(Oh yeah Einstein, anything else?)

7. Aapke husband to bade strict honge na?
(Oh yes, how did you guess? He takes me for PT every morning at 5. Aapko nahi pata?)

8. Ajeeb nahi lagta aapke ghar mei pehele koi aur reh raha tha?
(do u feel uncomfortable thinking dinosaurs most probably pooped where you are standing right now?)

9. Sab free hota hai na?
(Ohh yes.. we save 70k a month.. great na ?)

10. Aapke to kharche hote hi nahi honge
(Exactly.. now if the conversation is over, I have a private jet waiting for me. Ciao!)

Differences

कही आग लगी है तो कहीं सूखा,

• You like men in uniform you say??
• Well, do you like the sleepless nights?
• The constantly waking up to see if he wrote or called?
• The periods of days/weeks/months you don't see or talk to him?
• Loving from a distance?
• Putting all your care in a box?
• Sending kisses through the phone?
• Virtual hugs?
• Praying and pleading the blood of Jesus over his life and mind?
• Being alone at night?
• Crying as you're getting on a plane only to be separated once again?
• Homecomings?
• Deployments?

And overall the threat of receiving a phone call just to inform you that during an operation "The Brave Soldier " lost his life...

If you can't answer any of these you, my friend have no clue what it is to love a MAN IN UNIFORM!

She who waits also serves!

And she says,
• I would love to be awakened every night.
• I am ready to wait my whole life for even a splash of you and to listen to a word from you.
• My love wouldn't be affected by any distance.
• The envelope of my heart would be there to keep all the love.
• I would make you feel that you are being kissed and in my arms through the phone.

• Yes, I would cry a lot but you will take a beautiful nap when you will realize the taste of my lips
  on yours.

ज़िन्दगी : एक बार फिर वक़्त का इम्तेहान आया है

सही मायने में जिंदगी क्या है  अब समझ  आया है ,

जब हस्ती हुई ज़िन्दगी में वक़्त का इम्तेहान आया है | ..

सामने मंजिल थी मेरे , 

रास्ता भी साफ़ था,

फिर भी कानो में उसकी आवाज की एक गूँज सी थी,

वो तो जाने को तो कह रही थी,

पर उसकी आँखे कह रही थी " मत जाओ ना "...

खैर, रुकते तो सफर छूट जाता,

चलते तो खुद से ही बिछड़ जाते,

मंजिल की हसरत भी थी ,

और उससे मोहब्बत भी। ...

दिल में रुकने की एक कशिश भी थी , 

और मंजिल की और जाने का ग़रूर भी,

ना जाने  कैसे संभाला उसने खुद को,

नाखुश थी फिर भी बोल रही थी की "खुश रहना"...

चला आया मै  दूर उससे, 

उस खुशबू से , उस अक्स से,

छोड़ आया उन लम्हो को उन गलियों में ,

जो कह रही थी की "लौट कर जल्दी आना"....

कैसा ये इम्तेहान है जिंदगी तेरा ,
सवालो के घेरे तो है,
लेकिन लिखने को अल्फाज नहीं,

"जिंदगी क्या है "अब समझ में आया है |
हस्ती हुई जिंदगी में वक़्त का इम्तेहान आया है | 

एहसास , तेरे होने का।

एक एहसास से है तेरे होने का,
तुझे पाने का , तेरे साथ जिंदगी बिताने का,
एक डर सा भी है तुझे खोने का,
कहीं गुम हो जाने का, इस अंधेरे में कही खो जाने का।

न जाने क्यों जिंदगी इम्तेहान ले रही है,
मैं सोचता था कि कुछ इम्तेहान तो होंगे ,
ये नही पता था कि हर लम्हा इम्तेहान बनकर रह जायेगा।

तुझसे दुर होना है ये तो पता था मझे,
लेकिन इतनी याद आएगी इसका अंदाजा नही था,
कहीं ठहर सी गयी है जिंदगी अब,
शायद कुछ खो गया है, कुछ ढूंढ रही है।

हर किसी को बोलता हूं खुश रहने के लिए,
जिंदगी को बिना सोचे जीने के लिए,
पर खुद को कैसे समझाऊं,
खुद से झूट नही बोला जाता ।

बस तेरे साथ होने का एहसास ही है,
जिसको जीने का सहारा समझ लेता हु,
तुझसे दूर होने की रुसवाई तो है,
बस उसी रुसवाई को गले से लगा लेता हुँ।

एक एहसास है तुझे पाने का,
तेरे संग जिंदगी बिताने का।।
